Abstract

This research is about The Effect of Incentives on Employee with Their Productivity at Batam Tourism Polytechnic. This research is intended to determine the extent of the effect of incentives on employee productivity at Batam Tourism Polytechnic.This research was conducted on employees at Batam Tourism Polytechnic and then used as samples to be respondents. The research method is carried out using the associative causality method by using the Spearman rank correlation analysis to determine the magnitude of the relationship between the two variables. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the magnitude of the incentive's influence on productivity was 63.36%, and the remaining 36.4% came from other factors outside of incentives and productivity.The results showed that the implementation of incentives has a strong relationship in increasing employee productivity. However, there are still some incentive indicators that have not been able to meet employee expectations, so that employees have not fully provided productivity to the Batam Tourism Polytechnic. In the end, the researcher gave several recommendations to give special attention to employees by paying attention to the rights received by employees, namely bonuses received, commissions and retirement benefits. The management should further optimize a series of processes in implementing this incentive to further increase work productivity for Batam Tourism Polytechnic. The biggest significant influence on employee work productivity at Batam Tourism Polytechnic is the incentive variable with a standard beta coefficient of 0.848.
